Readings: Genesis 6:1-10 | Hebrews 11:1-7
Genesis 6 describes a world drowning in corruption, a world that doesn’t look too different from ours. Yet Noah stands out, not because he is flawless, but because he walks with God when few others do. Integrity is countercultural: it refuses shortcuts, resists compromise, and remains faithful when faithfulness feels inefficient.
Our age prizes the fast, the flashy, and the performative. Integrity isn’t any of those things, which is why it’s so rare, and so powerful. When you choose honesty over image, compassion over convenience, faithfulness over expedience, you become a living protest against the corruption around you.
Noah didn’t save the world; God did. But Noah positioned himself where God could work through him. Today, choose integrity in the small things. They are the seeds through which God grows renewal.
Devotional Prompts:
- Where are you tempted to compromise?
- What does integrity look like in your daily choices?
- How might God use your faithfulness in this season?
Prayer: Faithful God, strengthen us to walk with integrity. Guard our hearts from compromise and shape us into people who reflect Your righteousness. Amen.
